Bloomberry disputes allegations of casino development in Thailand.

 Thailand is getting closer to establishing a legal gaming market, but Bloomberry Resorts Corporation has denied rumours that it could construct and launch a new land-based casino there.
 Thailand  Enrique "Ricky" Razon, the Filipino millionaire and head of Bloomberry, may think about expanding in Thailand, according to reports that surfaced this week.  According to the Bilyonaryo.com story, Razon has expressed interest in developing a casino resort in Thailand.

 In response, Bloomberry sent a notice to the Philippine Stock Exchange separating itself from the rumours.  But according to Bloomberry, there is "market interest" in legal gambling in Thailand.

 Bloomberry claimed that the story was only conjecturing that the company "is expected" to join "global gaming leaders who have shown interest in establishing a resort casino in Thailand."

 Thailand is reportedly considering enacting a gaming law, however we are unsure of its exact shape.  The market is interested in it.  However, it is part of the author's conjecture to claim that Bloomberry affirms that it has "plans to expand in Thailand."  Such a scheme does not exist.

 At the moment, Bloomberry is concentrating on casino operations in the Philippines and South Korea.  A second integrated resort in the Philippines opened last week, joining the group's one in each of the other countries.

 Thailand is a target for casino giants.
 While other leaders have expressed interest, Bloomberry does not appear to have any imminent plans to start in Thailand.

 Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings stated during the company's Q1 results call that the operator is evaluating its possibilities for opening casinos in Thailand and New York. 

 Billings acknowledges that the launch process in Thailand is still in its "very early days," with complete information regarding laws and licensing arrangements still pending.  He did, however, add that Wynn is eager to make the move.

 With substantial tourism infrastructure and a top-notch service culture, Thailand is already a popular travel destination, according to Billings.  "We will keep a careful eye on the legalisation process' progress."

 Las Vegas Sands is another operator that has expressed interest.  The operator "absolutely" has an interest in Thailand, according to remarks made by CEO and chairman Robert Goldstein last month.

 He declared, "It's a really, really exciting market on many levels."  "Just the sheer number of people, the ease of access, and the desire of people to visit Thailand."  It is undoubtedly, in my opinion, Asia's top vacation destination city.

 It might even occur more quickly than in Japan.  I believe it is possible.  We still need to work on understanding the figures, but it's still early.

 When it comes to legalising casinos, Goldstein is not the only person who has compared Thailand with Japan.
